Used in Mexico since 7500 BC, our red chillies are of the Teja variety, native to the southern state of Karnataka in India and sold by the ton in the world’s largest chilli market in Guntur. Dried in the sun, they pack a hot kick and flavour in equal measure.

How to use
Whole red chillies are used in curries and stews for subtle heat, when they are tossed into hot oil early on. Crush and sprinkle on salads and stir fries for a sharp kick. Or, if you can handle, soak in water and then blend with garlic and salt for a homemade chilli sauce that will knock your socks off!
